Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer

Brennan Recruitment and Staffing Ltd is delighted to partner with one of Ireland’s leading eCommerce companies, who through their work, partner with some of the world’s biggest brands across the Ireland, United States, UK and Europe.

Their reputation is based on enhancing eCommerce capabilities for ambitious brands, empowering them to attract and convert buyers, amplify margins, and elevate the overall customer experience on Amazon, various Marketplaces, as well as their branded Webstores and social platforms.

An award winning company, our client has attracted significant private equity investment in 2023 to support an acceleration of international growth. They are now a highly sought-after authority on eCommerce direct to consumer sales capabilities and services.

The company is now looking for a strong and experienced ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified Commercial Accountant to work within their Finance team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of business performance, including revenue, margins, and costs.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks to support decision-making and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Provide financial support and KPI analysis for all business planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the relevant business units to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and provide recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for business leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate financial performance, key metrics, and insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the senior management team, providing financial guidance and support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align commercial objectives with overall business goals.
  • Partner with business units, conduct multi-dimensional analyses and provide insightful and quality financial advice to support company’s business decision-making.
  • Oversee fraud and dispute management activities.
  • Supporting on cost management initiatives.
  • Flexibility to work on high-level ad hoc projects while continuing to achieve routine goals.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial reporting and business intelligence.
  • Implement tools, systems, and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial analysis and reporting.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Accountant with 3yrs + PQE, with proven experience in a similar role.
  • Preferably in an organization that has experienced change and transformation.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to develop good relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
