An Introduction to
Martin has worked within the recruitment industry over the past ten years. Previous to this, he worked in the Financial Services Sector, gaining experience across a wide range of Industries and sectors including Accounting, Finance, Operations and Banking, before making the move into Recruitment and Staffing Industry in 2014.
Before setting up his own company, Brennan Recruitment & Staffing Ltd, Martin has partnered with and continues to work with numerous clients including Leading Irish Brands, Leading Multinationals, Aviation, Ecommerce, Blue Chip, Software, Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Biopharma, Financial Services, Media, Digital and Gaming companies.
While I have been proud to have been approached to work with new and emerging industries such as Medtech, SpaceTech and Green Economy companies.
For me, it was about finding the link between both personal and professional satisfaction, “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life”
This resonated with me. It wasn’t about the remuneration or benefits I could accrue in a role, but the satisfaction and happiness in the work I was doing or wanted to do. To be honest recruitment is far from an easy career and fair to say it has many ups and downs, but at the centre of it all, is people, working with people whether they are clients and candidates.
This for me is key as I would regard myself as a people person, building relationships and earning people’s trust. In an ever-changing landscape in recruitment, whether it be AI or future technology, it is who you are as person, your reputation and delivery that ultimately job seekers and clients will partner with.
