Job Title: Finance Manager

Reporting To: Financial Controller

Brennan Recruitment and Staffing Ltd is delighted to partner with one of Ireland’s leading beverage suppliers, who have extensive customer base, exporting its own brands globally. This client operates with a customer-centric mentality and require capable, and committed people working within all areas of the business.

We are now recruiting for a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will lead a small finance team located in Co. Kildare.

The successful candidate will play a key role in orchestrating and ensuring the smooth running of the finance functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the accounts team ensuring best practice, workflow efficiency and good customer and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure the timely production of our management information, P&L and balance sheet detail on a monthly basis.
  • Performing bank reconciliation, ensuring we have all purchase invoices for transactions that have been paid through the bank.
  • Co-ordinate annual audit and liaison with external auditors.
  • Manage fixed asset register & reconcile to nominal ledger.
  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results and trends.
  • Oversee the inventory controls and valuation.
  • Detailed monitoring of income and expenditure and development of weekly cash flow forecast.
  • Building of annual budgets for the business. IT systems development.
  • Negotiate and agree contracts. Analysis of pricing and providing recommendations on such to CEO.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and lead a team of four finance professionals.
  • Strong Excel skills, computer literate with ERP systems experience ideally SAP (Business One).
  • Similar experience in the FMCG industry is an advantage however not a requirement.
